We are a 60-acre estate winery, growing and producing Rhône and Italian varieties that are naturally balanced and expressive in our Mediterranean climate, here in the Dry Creek Valley.
New Wine Releases
We will be hosting a lavish pizza party at the winery on Nov. 11th (the evening before our release party) featuring magnums of our favorite wines from the Unti library. Our dear friend and supremely talented chef, Dino Bugica (Diavola) will be preparing a family style meal here at the winery, for our first ever wine dinner at our property. Purchase tickets through our store page. All wines will be available for purchase at the dinner.
The entire $100 ticket amount will be donated to The Redwood Credit Union Fire Fund.
Limited Hand-Bottles Magnums of our 2016 Rosé.
This 2016 shows why we planted Fiano in the first place. Its pale-gold color leads to a dry, crisp wine that has incredible texture. It is the highest acidity we have ever had in our Fiano…and I love it! We are beginning to think Fiano has found a home here in the Dry Creek Valley. Now if we could only find a home in Campania…
2016 was another excellent vintage for all of our white grapes, and it really shows in this CB. Vermetino provides fruit and aromas, Grenache Blanc mineral flavors and texture, and Picpoul is all about crisp citrus character. The notion of a Dry Creek Valley white wine that is suitable with raw oysters still blows my mind. It signals a new style of California white wine, rendering sweet, barrel-fermented Chardonnays passé. We are suckers for high acid, dry, un-oaked white wines. Aren’t you?
This 2015 vintage is one of the most concentrated and full-bodied Barberas we have ever made. It possesses deep color, exotic fruit, spice and floral aromas, with a juicy mouth-feel from solid acidity. While Barbera is all about fruit and acidity, this 2015 has the depth to age gracefully for a couple more years.
This 2014 Grenache shows that it is possible to make a wine with the power and complexity of Châteaunef-du-Pape here in California. It is a dark, full-bodied wine showing the classic Rhône character of raspberry liqueur, licorice, pepper, and spice. Reminiscent of the great 2007 vintage, this 2014 should age nicely over the next 4 years and last for a lot longer. I love Grenache when it performs like this.
