We have just finished the last magnum of 07 Benchland with Christmas dinner and that "big lovable puppy" was the perfect compliment to the main course. In the two months since we last visited the vineyard, we have polished off 4 750ml bottles of Benchland and now the magnums....this is really a wonderful re-introduction to Syrah from Cslifornia. I am sure that we will be talking to you next week to order more.

Best wishes for Happy Holidays....Michael Fletcher

We tasted and drank a bottle of your 2010 Rose', and thought it was one of the best wines we have ever tasted. We are not particularly what you would call experts, but I know a wine is exceptional when its suits my taste the way this Rose' does. I would love to get a case of this vintage. Please let me know how to accomplish this.!

I bought your Petit Frere on the advice of a young wine guy at Whole Foods in Sebastopol. He told my it was his favorite wine.

Although it was amusing to contemplate that this young man's taste might align with mine, I was in a hurry, and took a chance. I can't tell you how pleased I am, that I did.

My guests and I all agreed, that the wine was clearly exceptional.....one of the best we had ever tasted.

I was so grateful for the experience, that I sought out the young wine salesman, and told him how happy we were. He rewarded me by telling me more than I can remember about the making of the wine and why it was so special.

Lesson learned.....Don't judge the complexity of a wine, or your wine salesman by age alone!

Thanks for the sweet words Joshua. The 2009 Segromigno will be released in late spring of next year. we only make about 500 cases a year of that wine, so we don't have it year-round. We planted a bit more Sangiovese 3 years ago in hopes of increasing production.
Take Care.

Oh how I loved this wine. And alas I took it for granted. This year I bought more Unti Segromino than anything else because I liked it so much. It was my "house" wine and I've already consumed them all. I assumed living here in west Sonoma county I could get more at any time but that is no longer the case. I'll have to learn to more carefully ration these little jewels from Unti. Cant wait till next year's realease.

Cheers,
Joshua
